Den norske historiske skolen

Den norske historiske skolen var et kallenavn for en gruppe norske historikere som var aktive omkring midten av 1800-tallet. Disse historikerne trådte fram på 1830-tallet og ble særlig knyttet til den såkalte innvandringsteorien, en teori om at Norge var blitt befolket fra nord, ikke fra sør slik som Sverige og Danmark. Denne teorien førte til debatt med andre nordiske forskere, som var motstandere av teorien.

Blant historikere som regnes til den norske historiske skolen er Rudolf Keyser, P.A. Munch, Chr. C.A. Lange og C.R. Unger.
