Australian National University (ANU) er et statlig forskningsuniversitet i Canberra i Australian Capital Territory i Australia. Det ble grunnlagt i 1946 av det australske parlamentet for å styrke landets forskning. I 1960 ble det også åpnet for lavere grads studier, ved at Canberra University College ble fusjonert inn i ANU.
