Amy Watt (født 16. desember 1997 i Palo Alto i California) er en funksjonshemmet friidrettsutøver fra USA, som konkurrerer i sprintløp, i klassen T47. Hennes fremste internasjonale meritter er 5.-plass på 400 meter (T47) fra Para-VM i 2015, og 6.-plass på både 400 meter og lengdehopp fra Paralympiske sommerleker 2016 i Rio.

Hun er født uten venstre underarm og hånd.[1][2]

Meritter

2015

Young vant både 400 meter og lengdehopp ved USA-mesterskapet i para-friidrett 2015. I tillegg fikk hun sølv på 100 og 200 meter, bak Deja Young.[3] Hun deltok ved Para-VM i friidrett 2015, og kom der på 5.-plass på 400 meter og 7.-plass i lengdehopp. Hun deltok også på 100 og 200 meter, men ble slått ut i innledningsheatet på begge distansene. Ved Parapanamerikanske leker 2015 kom hun på 4.-plass på 100 og 200 meter.[2]

2016

Hun vant 400 meter ved det amerikanske uttaket til Paralympics (US Paralympic Trials), som også teller som USA-mesterskapet i para-friidrett. I lengdehopp kom hun på 2.-plass, bak Taleah Williams, og hun kom på 3.-plass på 200 meter. På 100 meter kom hun på 4.-plass.[4] Hun ble dermed tatt ut til Paralympiske sommerleker 2016 i Rio de Janeiro. Der kom hun på 6.-plass på 400 meter og i lengdehopp i klassen T47, og hun kom på 10.-plass på 100 meter.
