The Eurovision Song Contest – The Official History er ei bok av den britiske forfattaren John Kennedy O'Connor. Boka vart fyrst gjeven ut av forlaget Carlton Books i 2005, og vart opphavleg gjeven ut på engelsk, tysk, fransk, svensk, nederlandsk og dansk, med ein eigen engelsk publikasjon i Australia.[1] Ein finsk versjon vart gjeven ut i 2007 og i 2009 vart et gjeven ut ein russisk versjon.[2] Boka har vorte oppdatert tre gonger i Storbritannia. Den fyrste utgåva av boka som vart gjeven ut for å feire den 50. utgåva av Eurovision Song Contest i Kiev i Ukraina, kom på inn på lista over dei ti mest selde bøkene på Amazon Storbritannia og Amazon Tyskland i mai 2005, etter at programleiarane Maria Efrosinina og Pavlo Shylko hadde snakka om boka under tevlinga.
