Strawbs er eit rockeband som blei starta i England i 1964. Dei hadde opphavleg namnet Strawberry Hill Boys og var eit bluegrassband, som etterkvart nytta fleire forskjellige stilartar som for eksempel folk, folk rock, glam rock og progressiv rock.

Bandet blei starta av vokalisten og gitaristen Dave Cousins, og har hatt mange forskjellige besetningar opp igjennom åra. Av dei mest kjende medlemmene er Sandy Denny, som i 1968 gjekk til Fairport Convention, Rick Wakeman, som i 1971 gjekk til Yes, Sonja Kristina Linwood, som i 1970 gjekk til Curved Air, Blue Weaver, som gjekk til Bee Gees og Don Airey.

Strawbs blei oppløyst i 1980, men samla på ny i 1983, og har sidan spelt med fleire av dei gamle besetningane. I 2009 var det medlemmene frå 1974 Hero And Heroine som turnerte, men med Oliver Wakeman på tangentinstrumenter i staden for John Hawken (fødd 1940), som pensjonerte seg i 2008.

Sidan 2000 har Dave Cousins saman med Brian Willoughby (til 2004), Chas Cronk (fra 2004) og Dave Lambert turnert i Europa og Nord-Amerika som «Acoustic Strawbs», med tre gitarar og vokal.

Strawbs markerte sitt 40-årsjubileum på Twickenham Stadium i London 12. og 13. september 2009.
