Katherine Matilda Swinton (born 5 November 1960) ialah seorang pelakon dari Scotland, United Kingdom.

Biografi

Awal hidup

Katherine Matilda Swinton lahir pada 5 November 1960 di London; beliau anak keempat dan satu-satunya anak perempuan[2] kelahiran Judith Balfour (née Killen; 1929–2012) - seorang anak jati Australia[3][4] - dan Sir John Swinton, seorang pegawai berpangkat mejar jeneral dalam Tentera Darat British.[5] Her paternal great-grandfather was a Scottish politician and herald, George Swinton, and her maternal great-great-grandfather was the Scottish botanist John Hutton Balfour.[6]
