Сент Јакоб Парк е фудбалски стадион во Базел, Швајцарија. Тој е најголемиот фудбалски стадион во Швајцарија и е дом на фудбалскиот клуб ФК Базел. Стадионот познат и под името "Јогели", како што е наречен од страна на месните жители, за првпат бил изграден со сместивост од 33.433 седишта. Сместивоста била зголемена на 42.500 за потребите на Европското првенство во фудбал во 2008 година, кое се одржа во Швајцарија и Австрија.[1] По завршувањето на Евро 2008 година, бројот на седишта била намалена, со што бил создаден поголем простор меѓу нив. Од таа причина сместивоста бил намален на 38.512 за натпреварите од Швајцарската Супер лига или 37.500 седечки места за меѓународните натпревари.[2] Максималната сместивост за концерти е до 60.000.

Преглед

Стадионот е разделен на 4 главни сектора — A, B, C, D, како и блок G, која се состои од горниот дел од балконот додаден подоцна. Сент Јакоб Парк е прилично модерен стадион; изградбата започна на 13 декември 1998 година, на местото на поранешниот Сент Јакоб стадион. Повторното отворање се одржало на 15 март 2001 година. Архитекти биле Швајцарците Herzog & de Meuron.

Евро 2008

УЕФА го оценила стадионот со 4 ѕвезди, што е највисоката категорија, имајќи ја предвид сместивоста на стадионот.

За Евро 2008 „Сент Јакоб Парк“ бил домаќин на вкупно 6 натпревари — 3 групни натпревари (вклучувајќи го и отворачкиот натпревар), 2 четвртфиналиња и едно полуфинале. [3]
