Panorama kota

Ulaanbaatar adolah ibu kota jo kota tapadek nagara Mongolia nan talatak di utara tangah nagara pado katinggian sakitar 1.300 meter di sabuah lambah di Sungai Tuul. Kota ko bapanduduak 1.672.627 jiwa pado tahun 2021.[1] Kota ko marupokan kota tadingin di dunia badasarkan suhu rato-rato tahunan.[2]

Wilayah kota ko awalnyo tampek tingga musiman bagi para pangeran Mongolia. Pado tahun 1639, dibangun di daerah tu Biara Da Khure sahinggo wilayah tu manjadi pamukiman permanen. Salamo hampia 200 tahun, biara tu manjadi tampek tingga bagi bodgo-gegen, pamuko agamo tatinggi Buddha Tibet nan dianuik sabagian gadang urang Mongol.[3] Namo awal kota ko iolah Ugra nan pado abaik ka-17 manjadi ibu kota Kakaisaran Mongolia. Sasudah kakaisaran tu runtuah, Ulaanbaatar manjadi ibu kota nagara Mongolia sajak kamardekaannyo.[4]
