Mazie smirdīgie kociņi ir Latvijas rokgrupa, kura sāka darbību 2003. gadā. Pagaidām pēdējo sastāvu veidoja Simons Krasts (balss, ģitāra, sintezators), Ulvis Urtāns (basģitāra, sintezators, balss) un Filips Derums (sintezators, balss).

Grupas vēsture

Grupu 2003. gadā dibināja basists Uģis Reķis un Simons Krasts.[1] Neilgi pēc tam pievienojās vokālists Gvido Eriņš un blokflautiste Ilvija Bloka, kā arī bundziniece Daina "Zeltene" Nagle. 2004. gadā grupa nospēlēja savus pirmos koncertus. Grupai vairākkārt tika nomainīts sastāvs, taču tajā vienmēr palika Krasts.[1]

2006. gada beigās grupa ierakstīja vairākas dziesmas profesionālā studijā. 2007. gada sākumā tās tika izdotas kā debijas albums "Kraa!!".[2] Grupā tobrīd spēlēja Simons Krasts (balss, ģitāra), Valdis Jauģietis (ģitāra, elektriskās ērģeles), Uģis Ezerietis (basģitāra), Aleksandrs "Ļešijs" Panovs (sitamie instrumenti) un Daina "Zeltene" Nagle (bungas).

2007. gada vasarā basģitāru sāka spēlēt Ulvis Urtāns, bet bungas — Juris Simanovičs. Togad iznāca arī grupas pirmais videoklips — dziesmai "Dramatiskā gramatika".[3] Šādā sastāvā tika ierakstīti albumi "Putni ir lohi" (2007. gada nogalē) un "Sintī paradize" (2008. gadā). 2008. gada beigās nomira grupas bijušais dalībnieks un talismans Gvido Eriņš.[4]

2009. gadā grupu pameta Simanovičs, bet par tās dalībnieku kļuva taustiņinstrumentālists Filips Derums. 2013. gada augustā tika izdots albums "Putni ir lohi". 2015. gadā tika izdots albums "Sintezatoru Pludmale". 2 albumi palika neizdoti.
