Džejs Čou

Džejs Čou, īstajā vārdā Džou Dzjeluņs (ķīniešu: 周杰倫, piņjiņs: Zhōu Jiélún, dzimis 1979. gada 18. janvārī), ir taivāniešu mūziķis, dziedātājs, kinoproducents, aktieris un kinorežisors, kurš četras reizes ir ieguvis World Music Award. Pazīstams ar savām dziesmām, ko izpildījis gan pats, gan arī citi dziedātāji.

Biogrāfija

1998. gadā Džai Čou tika ievērots talantu konkursā, kurš viņš demonstrēja savu prasmi spēlēt klavieres un dziesmu rakstīšanas māku. Kaut arī Džai Čou konkursā neuzvarēja, tomēr viņa komponēšanas talantu ievēroja šova vadītājs, ietekmīgs Taivānas izklaides biznesa pārstāvis Džekijs Vu, un noslēdza ar viņu līgumu par dziesmu komponēšanu savai ierakstu kompānijai Alfa Music, iesaistot darbā arī tekstu autoru Vinsentu Fangu.[1]

2000. gadā izdeva savu pirmo albumu Jay. Pēc tam sekoja otrais albums Fantasy (2001). Kopš tā laika Džejs Čou kļuvis par vienu no veiksmīgākajiem dziedātājiem ķīniešu valodā runājošajā pasaulē, viņam ir 15 Taivānas balvas Golden Melody Awards — visvairāk no visiem dziedātājiem — un viņš ir ieguvis pagodinošo Mandopop karaļa nosaukumu.[1] Viņš kļuva par pirmo Mandopop mākslinieku, kurš iekļuvis Starptautiskās ierakstu industrijas federācijas (IFPI) globālajā albumu pārdošanas topā ar savu 15. studijas albumu Greatest Art Works of Art, kas 2022. gadā bija pasaulē visvairāk pārdotais ieraksts.[2]

Uzsācis aktiera karjeru filmā Initial D (2005), kam sekoja filmas Curse of the Golden Flower (2006), Kung Fu Dunk (2008) un The Treasure Hunter (2009). Attēlojis lomas tādās pazīstamās Holivudas filmās kā "Zaļais sirsenis" (2011) un "Krāpšanas ilūzija 2" (2016). Bijis gan režisors, gan aktieris filmās Secret (2007), The Rooftop (2013) un televīzijas seriālā Pandamen (2010).
