Nijolė Gaigalaitė (1928 m. gruodžio 10 d. Gaižūnuose, Linkuvos valsčius – 2009 m. birželio 18 d. Vilniuje) – Lietuvos skulptorė.

Biografija

Sesuo Aldona Gaigalaitė, brolis Algirdas Gaigalas. 1953 m. baigė Lietuvos dailės institutą. Nuo 1953 m. Lietuvos dailininkų sąjungos narė.

Kūryba

Sukūrė skulptūrinių portretų (Janina Degutytė, 1962 m., Salezijus Pavilonis, 1979 m., Elena Nijolė Bučiūtė, 1985 m.), antkapinių paminklų (Rapolas Jakimavičius, 1963 m., Nepriklausomos Lietuvos kariams, kritusiems kovose su lenkais 1994 m., abu Vilniuje), dekoratyvinių („Jūratė ir Kastytis“, Palanga, 1961 m.) ir kamerinių (triptikas „1863 metų atminimui“ 1967 m., „Lopšinė“ 1972 m.) kompozicijų. Vėlesnėje kūryboje vyrauja religinės tematikos skulptūros, dažna Pietos tema („Pieta Nr. 3“ TV bokšto gynėjams, 1992 m.). Bronzos, marmuro, granito, medžio skulptūros ekspresyvios, apibendrintų formų. Nuo 1953 m. dalyvauja parodose Lietuvoje ir užsienyje.[1]
