Lemniečių kalba – išnykusi kalba, kuria buvo kalbama Egėjo jūros Lemno saloje (dab. Graikija) VI a. pr. m. e. Tai daugiausia patvirtina užrašas ant laidojimo stelos, aptiktos 1885 m. saloje netoli Kaminijos kaimo. Užrašų fragmentai ant rastos vietinės keramikos rodo, kad šią kalbą vartojo vietos bendruomenė. 2009 m. Hefaistijos, pagrindinio senovės Lemno miesto, vietoje buvo pranešta apie naują atrastą užrašą.

Sąsajos

Lemniečių kalba iš esmės laikoma artima etruskų kalbai.[1][2] Atėniečiams užkariaujant salą antroje VI a. pr. m. e. pusėje, lemniečių kalbą išstūmė senovės graikų kalbos Atikos dialektas. Naudotas senovės vakarų graikų raštas. Lemniečių užrašų abėcėlė panaši į archajišką variantą, vartotą etruskų kalbai užrašyti pietų Etrūrijoje.

Ryšį tarp lemniečių ir etruskų kalbų tirėnų kalbų šeimoje pasiūlė vokiečių kalbininkas Helmutas Riksas dėl žodyno ir gramatikos panašumų. Morfologijoje, fonologijoje ir sintaksėje išaiškinta bendrų lemniečių, etruskų ir retų kalbų bruožų. Kita vertus, leksinių atitikmenų nedaug dėl mažo retų ir lemniečių tekstų skaičiaus ir, visų pirma, dėl gilios senovės, kada šios kalbos atsiskyrė, nes skilimas turėjo įvykti dar prieš bronzos amžių. Lemniečių kalba galėjo patekti į Egėjo jūrą vėlyvojo bronzos amžiaus metu, kai Mikėnų valdovai verbavo samdinių grupes iš Sicilijos, Sardinijos ir įvairių Italijos pusiasalio dalių.

Buvo bandyta du kartus tikrąją teksto prasmę atskleisti lietuvių kalbos pagalba. Tai bandė atlikti Aleksandras Pridotkas[3] ir G.Kleinschmidt[4].
