Joanas Korčinskis

Joanas Korčinskis (1864 m. birželio 25 d. Kijevas – 1935 m. liepos 2 d. Alytus) – stačiatikių dvasininkas, Lietuvos valstybinis veikėjas.

Biografija

1885 m. baigė Kijevo stačiatikių kunigų seminariją, 1885–1888 m. studijavo Maskvos universitete. Įšventintas 1888 m. 1888–1915 m. šventikas, tikybos mokytojas Kijevo, Gardino gubernijose. Nuo 1919 m. gyveno Lietuvoje. 1919–1921 m. – Lietuvos kariuomenės baltarusių karinių dalinių stačiatikių kapelionas. 1919–1920 m. Lietuvos Tarybos narys. 1923–1929 m. Lietuvos stačiatikių vyskupijos tarybos pirmininkas, 1926–1935 m. Lietuvos kariuomenės stačiatikių karo kapelionas. Domėjosi Lietuvos istorija, 1930 m. parašė knygą „Vytautas Didysis“.[1]
