Gelovinė – ežeras pietų Lietuvoje, Varėnos rajono vakaruose, 6,5 km į šiaurę nuo Merkinės, į vakarus nuo kelio  129  Antakalnis–Jieznas–Alytus–Merkinė . Ilgis šiaurės-pietryčių kryptimi 0,9 km, plotis iki 0,26 km. Altitudė 110,3 m. Ežero dubuo rininės kilmės. Krantai daug kur pelkėti, rytuose ir pietuose – statūs, aukšti. Ežerą supa Subartonių miškas. Gelovinės ežeru iš šiaurės į pietus prateka Straujos (Nemuno baseinas) intakas – Gelovinės upelis[1].

Į šiaurę nuo ežero įsikūręs Gelovinės kaimelis.

Ežerėvardis Gelovìnė greičiausiai kilęs iš šaknies gel-, reiškiančios šaltumą (plg. pageluo, pagela „šaltas, žvarbus oras“, pagelus „šaltas, žvarbus“, latv. dzeltrs „šaltas“, lot. gelu „šaltis, vėsa“).[2]
