Gediminas Juzeliūnas (g. 1958 m. liepos 14 d. Vilniuje) – Lietuvos fizikas, habilituotas fizinių mokslų daktaras.

Biografija

Tėvas kompozitorius Julius Juzeliūnas. 1981 m. baigė Vilniaus universitetą. 2000 m. habilituotas fizinių mokslų daktaras.

1989–1990 m. dirbo Lietuvos mokslų akademijos Fizikos institute, nuo 1990 m. Vilniaus universiteto Teorinės fizikos ir astronomijos instituto mokslo darbuotojas, nuo 2000 m. vyriausiasis mokslo darbuotojas. 1992–1994 m. dirbo mokslinį darbą Rytų Anglijos universitete Norviče, 1997–1998 m., 1999 m., 2000 m. Ulmo universitete, 2000–2001 m. Oregono universitete.

Mokslinė veikla

Mokslinių tyrimų sritys – kondensuotųjų medžiagų optika ir spektroskopija, kvantinė optika, eksitonų ir poliaritonų teorija, atomų Bozės ir Einšteino kondensatų, šaltųjų atomų dujų fizika. Išplėtojo poliaritonų metodą spinduliuotės kvantavimui nusakyti, pritaikė šį metodą lėtajai šviesai tirti šaltųjų atomų dujose.[1] Daugiau kaip 50 mokslinių publikacijų autorius.[2]
