Algirdas Makarevičius (1928 m. sausio 23 d. Kaune – 2015 m. kovo 2 d. ten pat[1]) – Lietuvos ekonomistas, socialinių mokslų daktaras.

Biografija

1950 m. baigė Kauno darbininkų jaunimo vidurinę mokyklą, 1955 m. Vilniaus universiteto (VU) Ekonomikos fakultetą. 1955–1958 m. VU Politinės ekonomijos katedros aspirantas. 1958–1962 m. Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademijos Politinės ekonomijos katedros dėstytojas. 1962 m. apgynė ekonomikos mokslų kandidato disertaciją „Ekonominė mintis Lietuvoje feodalinio ūkio irimo ir kapitalistinių santykių formavimosi sąlygomis“.[2][3]

1962–1993 m. Kauno politechnikos instituto (nuo 1990 m. KTU) Politinės ekonomijos katedros vyr. dėstytojas. Skaitė kapitalizmo politinės ekonomijos, mikro ir makroekonomikos, ekonominių teorijų istorijos ir Lietuvos ūkio istorijos disciplinas. 1968–1988 m. KPI Inžinerinės ekonomikos fakulteto dekanas; 1967 m. docentas. Nuo 2003 m. Veteranų klubo viceprezidentas.[4]

Mokslinė veikla

Mokslinių darbų pagrindinės sritys: ekonominės minties istorija Lietuvoje XVIII a. pab. – XIX a. trečiame dešimtmetyje, ekonominės teorijos ir ekonominių disciplinų formavimasis Vilniaus universitete 1783–1832 m. Vienas pirmųjų po Antrojo pasaulinio karo tyrė Lietuvos ekonominių draugijų raidą, Kauno technologijos universiteto istoriją. Svarbiausias veikalas „Ekonomikos mokslai senajame Vilniaus universitete“, 1971 m., rusų k.[5]
