El Strecc de Cook (in māori: Raukawa Moana, in ingles Cook Strait) a l'è la part de mar che 'l spartiss i do isole principai de la Noeuva Zelanda, l'Isola del Nord e l'Isola del Sud. El strecc el conliga el mar de Tasman a nord-ovest con l'Ocean Pacifegh meridional a sud-est e el bagna a nord la capitala Wellington.

El strecc el ciapa el so nom del James Cook, el prim capitan europee a passàgh, in del 1770. In māori inscambi el nom Te Moana-o-Raukawael el voeul dì El mar de Raukawa (Raukawa a l'è una pianta nativa de la Noeuva Zelanda).[1]
