아프리카바위쥐(Petromus typicus, dassie rat)는 아프리카에서 발견되는 설치류의 일종이다. 바위가 땅 위로 노출된 암석 지대에서 서식한다. 아프리카바위쥐과(Petromuridae), 아프리카바위쥐속(Petromus)의 현존하는 유일종이다. 이름의 "다시"(dassie)는 아프리칸스어로 바위너구리("hyrax")를 의미하며,^[2] 이 두 종은 비슷한 서식지에서 발견된다. 과명과 속명의 학명 표기를 Petromyidae과 Petromys로 잘못 표기하는 경우도 있다.
