리퀴드 텐션 익스페리먼트(영어: Liquid Tension Experiment)는 미국의 프로그레시브 메탈 밴드이다.
개요
1997년에 드림 시어터의 멤버를 중심으로 같은 밴드의 다른 프로젝트로 결성되었다. LTE로 축약될 수 있다. 가수를 제외한 경음악 밴드 구성에서 기교파로 유명한 멤버에 의한 기술적인 플레이를 전면에 내세운 스타일에 속한다. 현재 2장의 앨범을 제작한 이후 지금까지 공연을 꾸준히 참여하고 있으며 키보드의 조던 루디스가 드림 시어터의 멤버에 속한다. 공식적으로 해산이 되었으나 2008년에 밴드 결성 10주년을 기념으로 한 라이브 투어를 실시했다.
