충밍구(한국어: 숭명구, 중국어: 崇明区, 병음: Chóngmíng Qū)는 중화인민공화국 상하이시의 시할구로, 장강 입구 해구의 충밍섬에 위치하고 있다. 전체 인구는 70.1만 명(2005년 기준), 외래 인구는 8.3만 명이다. 농업과 공업 위주의 경제를 영위한다.

지리

충밍섬(崇明岛), 창싱섬(长兴岛)와 헝샤섬(横沙岛) 등의 도서로 구성되어 있고, 총면적 1,411km2이다. 그 중 충밍섬은 세계 최대의 하구 충적 섬으로, 중국에서 하이난섬 다음으로 세 번째 큰 섬이다.(중국 공산당이 영유권을 주장하는 타이완을 포함하면 세 번째가 된다.)

연평균 기온은 15.3℃이고 연평균 강수량은 994mm이다.

충밍섬 동쪽의 충밍둥탄 습지(崇明東灘湿地)는 세계적인 야생조류가 오는 땅으로 자연보호구로 지정되어 있고, 2002년 1월에는 국제습지조약에 등록되었다.

역사

서기 618년의(당나라 무덕 원년), 양쯔강 입구 바다 쪽으로 동사 서사 양 섬에서 시작하여, 이후, 이 땅에 많은 사주가 생기고, 붕괴되는 변화가 시작되었다. 명나라 말기, 청초에 그것들이 결국 완전한 숭명도가 되었다. 서기 696년(당나라 만세통천 원년, 측천무후)에 처음으로 사람이 섬에 살기 시작한다. 서기 705년(당나라 신룡 원년), 서사군도에 진을 설치하고 숭명이라고 명명한다(“숭”는 높은 의기를 뜻하고, “명”는 청명한 의기를 뜻함). 이후 행정의 변천과정을 겪어, 1958년 12월 1일에 장쑤성으로 편입되어 상하이시로 합병되고, 상하이의 현 중 하나가 된다(동시에 장쑤성 쑹장 전구는 철회됨). 2016년의 충밍현은 상하이 차급 행정구역 중 유일한 현이었다 충밍구로 승격되었다.
