Қаратау кен өңдеу кешені - өндірістік кәсіпорын, «Қазфосфат» ЖШС-нің филиалы.


Кәсіпорын 1998 жылы «Қаратау» акционерлік қоғамы негізінде құрылған. Өндірістік негізі – фосфорит кентасын өндіретін және өңдейтін тау-кен комбинаты. Жаңатас қаласында орналасқан. Комбинат 12,5 мың га жерді алып жатыр, құрамына фосфорит кентасының жалпы қоры 418 млн. тонна болатын 3 кеніш кіреді: «Жаңатас» (жылдық қуаты 10,8 млн. т кентас), «Көкжон» (4,7 млн. т), «Көксу» (2 млн. т) кеніштері. Негізгі өнімдері: майда ұнтақталған фосфорит ұны, кесек және ұсақ фосфорит. Комбинаттың жылына 6,5 млн. т тауарлық кентас (оның 4,5 млн. т-сы фосфорит ұнтағы) өңдей алатын қуаты бар. 2600 адам жұмыс істейді. Кәсіпорын өнімдерінің негізгі тұтынушылары Қазақстанда, Өзбекстанда, Түрікменстанда және Ресейде орналасқан. 2001 жылдан кәсіпорын құрылымына «Қаратау» кен-химия комбинаты қосылған. Жетекшісі –А.В.Рябова.
