Бекмағанбет Сұлтанғазиев

Бекмағанбет Сұлтанғазиев (1899, Жезқазған облысы, Жаңаарқа ауданы, Тасқора ауылы - 16.01.1950, Жамбыл облысы, Сарысу ауданы, Жайылма ауылы) - қазақ зергері, руда танушы.


Түрлі кендерді халық тәжірибесінде жинақталған белгілер бойынша іздеген, кен геологиясымен өздігімен танысқан зерттеуші. Тасқора мыс кенін (1928), Қаратаудағы Шымбастау мыс – никель – кобальт кенін ашты (1936). Тасқора мыс кенін ашқаны үшін оған Қазақ Орталық кен округы 1929 жылы 21 шілдеде барлау жұмыстарын жүргізуге рұқсат куәлігін берді. Сұлтанғазиев өзінің кен іздеушілік жұмыстарын әуелі Ақмола облысы, Сарысу болысы, №1 ауыл Кеңесінің, кейін Жамбыл облысы,Сарысу ауданы, Калинин ауыл Кеңесі атқару комитеттерінің төрағасы (1924 - 45) бола жүріп атқарды. Ол өзінің туған жеріндегі Ленин атындағы к-зды ұйымдастырушылардың бірі. 1925 жылдан “Қазақстанды зерттеу” қоғамының мүшесі болды.[1]
