{{Str left|stringa|n}} restituisce i primi n caratteri di una stringa contando da sinistra. Il default per n è 1, il massimo è 500 (valori maggiori danno solo i primi 500 caratteri). Il template ignora gli spazi all'inizio della stringa.

Esempio: {{Str left|tizio|3}} = tiz

Attenzione: se n è maggiore della lunghezza della stringa, la stessa viene ripetuta più volte, fino a raggiungere un numero di caratteri pari al valore di n.
