Questo template restituisce l'argomento specificato se è un numero nel formato usato nell'informatica (con il punto come separatore decimale e nessun separatore delle migliaia) o un'espressione aritmetica valida, e non restituisce niente se non lo è.
È così possibile usarlo nelle chiamate #if:
{{#if:{{IsNumber|n}}|è un numero!|no, non lo è!}}
In questo caso, restituisce "no, non lo è!"
Esempi:
