Template utilizzato da Template:Composto chimico. Utilizza Template:CasTemplate sul toolserver.

Verifica la validità del numero CAS prima di indirizzare verso il toolserver, che mostra una lista di collegamenti verso alcuni database (ChemIDplus, DrugBank, ESIS, NIST, NLM, PubChem, ...).

Sintassi : {{CAS| numero cas }}

Le cifre del numero CAS possono anche essere inserite separate da trattini. Il template:

  • verifica automaticamente la validità del numero CAS senza dovere cliccare sul collegamento creato;
  • crea un collegamento per accedere ai database.

Esempi:

  • {{CAS|103902}} dà: 103-90-2
  • {{CAS|123456}} dà: 123456 numero CAS non valido

Il template gestisce ancora la vecchia sintassi che richiedeva di separare ogni cifra con una barra {{CAS|1|0|3|9|0|2}}, ma ora effettua il controllo anche quando le cifre vengono inserite unite.
