Sam Steel (Sherwood Park, 3 febbraio 1998) è un hockeista su ghiaccio canadese, centro dei Dallas Stars (NHL).
Steel è stato selezionato dagli Anaheim Ducks al Draft NHL 2016 con la 30ª scelta assoluta. Dopo un breve passaggio con i Minnesota Wild, Steel è passato a vestire la maglia dei Dallas Stars.
Con le selezioni giovanili canadesi Steel ha ottenuto ben due medaglie d'oro, la prima nel 2015 ai mondiali Under-18, mentre la seconda nel 2018 ai mondiali Under-20.
