NGC 3422 è una galassia lenticolare vista di taglio e situata nella costellazione del Cratere, a una distanza di circa 226 milioni di anni luce dalla nostra Via Lattea.[1]
Scoperta
La galassia è stata scoperta nel 1880 dall'astronomo britannico Andrew Ainslie Common.[1]
