Biografia
Ha debuttato a Broadway con Le avventure di Tom Sawyer come sostituta e riserva per i personaggi di Amy Lawrence e Becky Thatcher. Nel 2002, si è unita al revival di Broadway di Into the Woods come riserva per Cenerentola, Cappuccetto Rosso, Biancaneve e Raperonzolo. Ha avuto il suo primo ruolo da protagonista nel revival di Gypsy del 2003.
Nel 2005, interpreta Glinda nella produzione di Wicked a Chicago.[1] Per la sua interpretazione in Wicked, ha ricevuto una nomination al Joseph Jefferson Award come migliore attrice protagonista. L'anno successivo, sostituisce Megan Hilty nel ruolo di Glinda nella produzione di Broadway.[2][3][4]

Vita privata
Dal 2016 è sposata con l'attore Andrew Samonsky.[10] I due hanno avuto un figlio nel 2017.[11]
