HD 82785 è una stella nella costellazione della Macchina Pneumatica. Con una magnitudine apparente di 6,43,[3] è vicino al limite inferiore di visibilità ad occhio nudo. La distanza da questa stella, basata sulle misurazioni della parallasse, è di 240 anni luce. Si sta allontanando ulteriormente dal Sole con una velocità radiale di 28 km/s. Ha una magnitudine assoluta di 2,06.

Questa stella di tipo F ha una classificazione stellare di F2IV/V,[4] che mostra una classe di luminosità di una stella di sequenza principale combinata con una stella subgigante più evoluta. Ha 1,5 miliardi di anni[2] e gira con una velocità di rotazione di 36 km/s.[5] La stella ha 1,68 volte la massa e 2,43 volte il raggio del Sole.[2][1] HD 82785 ha una temperatura effettiva di 6.869 K.[2]
