Distribuzione

Le 15 specie note di questo genere sono diffuse in America meridionale: 9 specie sono state rinvenute in Cile e 5 in Argentina[1].

Tassonomia

Considerato un sinonimo anteriore di Zodariops Mello-Leitão, 1939, a seguito di un lavoro di Platnick (1993c)[1].

Non sono stati esaminati esemplari di questo genere dal 2007[1].
