Arabella Stanton (11 aprile 2014) è un'attrice britannica. A maggio 2025 è stato annunciato che avrebbe interpretato il ruolo di Hermione Granger nella serie televisiva Harry Potter di HBO.[1]
Biografia
Stanton ha interpretato il ruolo di Matilda Wormwood nella produzione West End di Matilda the Musical da settembre 2023 fino a marzo 2024.[2] Ha anche interpretato Control nella produzione West End del musical Starlight Express di Andrew Lloyd Webber da luglio 2024 a settembre 2024.[3] Nel maggio 2025, è stata scelta per il ruolo di Hermione Granger nella prossima serie televisiva di Harry Potter, che sarà trasmessa su HBO; reciterà accanto a Dominic McLaughlin e Alastair Stout rispettivamente nei panni di Harry Potter e Ron Weasley. Le riprese dello spettacolo sono iniziate nell'estate del 2025, e la serie uscirà a Natale del 2026.[4]
Nell’agosto 2025 è stato annunciato che Stanton avrebbe prestato la voce a Hermione Granger in Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions, una produzione di Audible e Pottermore di J. K. Rowling.[5] Il progetto, annunciato nell’aprile 2024, prevede l’adattamento di tutti e sette i romanzi in formato audiolibro, con musica originale e un cast composto da oltre cento doppiatori.[6] Stanton è l’unica interprete del trio principale a ricoprire lo stesso ruolo sia nella serie televisiva sia negli audiolibri[7], nei quali recita accanto a Frankie Treadaway, nel ruolo di Harry Potter, e Max Lester, nel ruolo di Ron Weasley.[5]
