Zoltán Dani

Zoltán Dani (Hongaria : Dani Zoltán ; Rumania : Zoltan Dani; Cyrillic Serbia : Золтан Дани ; 23 Juli 1956) adalah seorang politikus, mantan perwira Tentara Yugoslavia dan mantan komandan baterai ke-3 Brigade Rudal ke-250, yang menembak jatuh sebuah NATO F-117 Nighthawk dekat desa Buđanovci pada 27 Maret 1999, selama Perang Kosovo. Serangan itu dicapai dengan sistem rudal permukaan-ke-udara S-125. Dia awalnya tidak dikenal publik dan alias dengan nama tersebut Gvozden Đukić. Namun, setelah pensiun dari militer, ia mengungkapkan identitasnya.[1][2]

Dani mengklaim Rudal juga menembak jatuh F-16 NATO. Meskipun NATO awalnya mengklaim kerugian itu karena "kegagalan mekanis";  pilot F-16 menceritakan bahwa pesawatnya ditabrak oleh SAM.

Sejak pensiun dari dinas militer, Dani membuka toko roti dan restoran keluarga di desa asalnya, Skorenovac. Ia keturunan Hungaria dan Rumania; keluarga dari pihak ayah adalah Székelys dari Bukovina , seperti mayoritas penduduk desa, menetap di Vojvodina pada akhir abad ke-19, sementara ibunya adalah keturunan Banat Rumania .

Politik

Dani adalah kandidat dari Partai Sosialis Serbia pada pemilihan umum 2022 , menempati urutan ke-26 dalam daftar suara SPS.[3] Ia menjabat sebagai Anggota Majelis Nasional pada 1 Agustus 2022.[4]
