Srirangam Srinivasarao (30 April 1910 – 15 Juni 1983), yang lebih dikenal sebagai Sri Sri, adalah seorang penyair dan pembuat lirik Telugu.[1] Ia merupakan anggota dari PEN INDIA, Sahitya Academy, Wakil Presiden Asosiasi Penulis Film India Selatan, Madras dan Presiden asosiasi penulis revolusioner Andhra. Ia juga dianugerahi Penghargaan Nehru Tanah Soviet di India.[2][3][4]

Kehidupan awal

Srirangam Srinivasa Rao, yang lebih dikenal sebagai Sri Sri, lahir pada 30 April 1910 di Visakhapatnam. Ia menyelesaikan pendidikannya di sekolah yang sama dengan dimana ayahnya, Sri Venkata Ramaiah, bekerja sebagai guru matematika. Ia menikah dengan Venkata Ramanamma pada usia 15 tahun dan mengangkat seorang anak perempuan. Ia kemudian menikah dengan Sarojini, yang memberikannya seorang putra dari tiga putri.

Ia pergi ke Madras untuk pendidikan tingginya pada 1928 dan menyelesaikannya pada 1931. Pada 1938, ia bergabung sebagai sub-penyunting dari Andhra Prabha, sebuah surat kabar harian. Ia kemudian bekerja pada All India Radio dan pasukan bersenjata.
