Kim Seok-woo (lahir 7 Agustus 1996), lebih dikenal dengan nama panggung Rowoon, adalah aktor dan penyanyi Korea Selatan. Dia adalah anggota grup vokal pria K-pop SF9. Pada tahun 2019, dia menjadi pemeran utama untuk pertama kalinya dalam drama Extraordinary You di MBC.

Karier

2015–2016: Pra-debut dan debut dengan SF9

Pada tahun 2015, dia merupakan bagian dari tim pra-debut, “Neoz School”, di bawah label FNC Entertainment sebagai seorang anggota dalam grup NEOZ. Pada Mei 2016, dia berpartisipasi sebagai anggota "NEOZ Dance" di acara survival FNC Entertainment berjudul d.o.b (Dance or Band) dan berkompetisi melawan NEOZ Band (sekarang dikenal sebagai Honeyst). "NEOZ Dance" memenangkan kompetisi dan berkesempatan untuk debut. Dia debut pada bulan Oktober 2016 dalam grup SF9 dengan singel "Fanfare".[1]

2017–2018: Debut akting

Karier aktingnya dimulai dalam drama School 2017 di saluran KBS2 sebagai peran kecil.[2] Setelah penampilannya tersebut, ia mulai mendapat peran yang lebih besar secara terus-menerus.

Pada tahun 2018, ia berperan dalam drama About Time di saluran tvN sebagai adik pemeran utama wanita. Pada tahun yang sama, ia bergabung dalam drama Where Stars Land yang ditayangkan di SBS dan memperoleh nominasi penghargaan New Actor.[3][4]

2019: Transisi ke peran utama

Pada 10 Mei 2019, Rowoon tampil dalam video musik NC.A berjudul "밤바람" (Awesome Breeze).[5]

Ia mendapatkan peran utama untuk pertama kalinya dalam drama fantasi sekolah berjudul Extraordinary You.[6]
