Roger Bisiere (22 September 1886 - 2 December 1964 adalah seorang pelukis, pematung, guru dan penulis tentang seni yang berasal dari Prancis.[1][2] Ia lahir di Villereal, Lot et Garonne dan sekolah di École des Beaux-Arts di Bordeaux.[1] Karya-karya awalnya adalah lukisan lanskap pedesaan lokal.[1]

Setelah belajar di École des Beaux-Arts, ia pergi ke Paris pada tahun 1910 dan bekerja sebagai wartawan sambil tetap melukis.[1] Lalu pada tahun 1912, ia menerbitkan artikel pertamanya tentang kritik seni dengan nama samaran Caoudaland.[2]

Pada tahun 1914 artikel tersebut baru muncul dengan menggunakan namanya sendiri.[2] Dalam membuat karyanya, ia dipengaruhi oleh para pelukis klasik Prancis, seperti Camille Corot, Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres dan Georges Seurat.[2] Ia juga mendukung gaya kubisme dan mengikuti model kubisme Braque.[2]

Pada tahun 1921 ia menandatangani kontrak pertamanya dengan galeri Paul Rosenburg.[2] Lalu, dari tahun 1925 sampai 1938 ia mengajar di Akademi Ranson.[1] Di sana ia menjadi tokoh populer dan berpengaruh di kalangan murid-muridnya.[1]
