Rodolphe Guilland

Rodolphe Joseph Guilland, lahir di Lons-le-Saunier pada tahun 1888, meninggal di Saint-Marcellin (Isère) pada tanggal 5 Oktober 1981, merupakan seorang bizantinolog berkebangsaan Prancis. Ia menyelesaikan tesisnya tentang Nikephoros Grigoras (sebuah biografi pada tahun 1926, dan korespondensinya yang disunting pada tahun 1927), dan menggantikan gurunya Charles Diehl di Bizantinologi Sorbonne pada tahun 1934, yang ia pegang hingga pensiun pada tahun 1958.[1] Minat utamanya adalah pada akhir masa pemerintahan Bizantium (1204–1453), khususnya Palaiologan, dan bidang utama penelitiannya adalah sejarah Istana Agung Konstantinopel, kantor, gelar, serta peralatan administrasi negara Bizantium.[2]
