Pulau Asutubun adalah pulau terluar Indonesia yang terletak di Laut Timor, berbatasan dengan negara Timor Leste dan Australia.[1] Pulau Asutubun ini merupakan bagian dari wilayah pemerintah kabupaten Kepulauan Tanimbar, provinsi Maluku.[2] Pulau ini berada di sebelah selatan dari pulau Yamdena dengan koordinat -8.048056, 131.280278.

Pada 2 Maret 2017, Presiden Joko Widodo menetapkan Pulau Asutubun sebagai bagian dari pulau-pulau kecil terluar bersama 110 pulau kecil lainnya. Adapun ketetapan ini tertuang dalam Keputusan Presiden Nomor 6 Tahun 2017 tentang Penetepan Pulau-Pulau Kecil Terluar.[3]

Sebelah selatan, timur, dan barat Pulau Asutubun berbatasan dengan perairan Laut Aru. Sedangkan sebelah utara berbatasan dengan wilayah daratan Kecamatan Wer Tamrian dan Wer Maktian.[1]

Pariwisata

Sebagai pulau kecil, Pulau Asutubun memiliki sejumlah pantai yang dijadikan destinasi wisata seperti Pantai Sambunyi, Pantai Satu, Pantai Dua, Pantai Tiga, dan lain sebagainya.[4] Secara umum, pantai di Pulau Asutubun memiliki karakteristik pantai bertebing.[5]
