Proyek Guru di Luar Angkasa

Proyek Guru di Luar Angkasa (bahasa Inggris: Teacher in Space Project, TISP) adalah sebuah program NASA yang diumumkan oleh Presiden Amerika Serikat ke-40 Ronald Reagan pada tanggal 27 Agustus 1984. Proyek tersebut kemudian diikuti oleh 11 ribu guru dari penjuru negeri, termasuk Christa McAuliffe. Proyek tersebut dipandang sangat menarik karena bisa menjadi cara untuk mempromosikan profesi guru. Proyek tersebut juga dibuat NASA agar publik lebih tertarik dengan program luar angkasa, karena mereka sempat kehilangan popularitas dan pendanaan sejak misi pergi ke Bulan tahun 1969.[1]
