Podol adalah sebuah nama desa yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Tabaru, Kabupaten Halmahera Barat, Provinsi Maluku Utara, Indonesia. Jumlah penduduk desa ini tahun 2019 berjumlah 1.099 jiwa, dengan luas wilayah 7,51 km².[1]

Masyarakat Halmahera Barat memiliki beragam macam suku bangsa, termasuk suku Suku Loloda, Tabaru, Gamkonora, Wayoli, Sahu, Gorap, dan ada pula suku Ternate.[2] Sementara itu, penduduk desa ini berdasarkan data BPS tahun 2019, pemeluk agama Kristen 99,64%, Katolik 0,27% dan Islam 0,09%.[1] Dan mayoritas pekerjaan warga sebagai petani, nelayan, dan juga pelaku industri seperti menganyam, dll.
