Persigowa (akronim dari Persatuan Sepak bola Indonesia Gowa) adalah sebuah klub sepak bola Indonesia yang bermarkas di Stadion Kalegowa, Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia. Tim ini merupakan salah satu tim era perserikatan yang bermain di divisi satu pada musim 1978/1979 dan 1983. Saat ini Persigowa bermain di Liga 3 Zona Sulawesi Selatan, Indonesia.

Jenjang skuad

Partisipasi dan prestasi klub

Persigowa pernah berjaya pada era 70-an sampai 80-an seiring dukungan perusahaan pabrik kertas di Kabupaten Gowa yang memberikan dana pembinaan untuk pemain. Tak sedikit pemain ternama yang pernah membela klub ini, seperti Firdaus Hambali, Ronny Pattinasarani, Andi Bonay, Bahrul, Najib Moke, Andi Tahri, Erwin Yoyo, Arifin Timo, Hamsah Arfah, Andi Bonni, Mokar, Syamsuddin Umar, dan Mustari Ato. Kejayaan Persigowa kala itu dikenal sebagai klub pencetak pemain-pemain andal. Mereka lahir dari klub ini hingga bergabung dengan Makassar Utama kala itu yang perlahan pindah ke PSM Makassar. Pada era 90-an, Persigowa mengalami kemunduran prestasi pasca perusahaan pabrik kertas ditutup. Beberapa pemain andalannya pindah membela PSM Makassar. Memasuki era 90-an hingga sekarang, Persigowa dinilai tak bertaji. Walaupun begitu, nama-nama pemain yang pernah dan sedang membela PSM Makassar seperti Wasyiat Hasbullah, Rasyid Bakri, Syamsul Chaeruddin, Hendra Wijaya, dan Iqbal Samad pernah dibina di klub Persigowa.[1]
