Michael Brant Shermer (lahir 8 September 1954) adalah seorang penulis ilmiah, sejarawan ilmu pengetahuan, pendiri The Skeptics Society, dan editor Amerika Serikat.^[1] Ia adalah editor dari majalah Skeptic, yang menginvestigasi ilmu semu dan klaim supernatural.

Shermer juga merupakan produser dari acara televisi Exploring the Unknown.
