Lee Jae-yoon (Hangul: 이재윤; Hanja: 李在允, lahir 15 Desember 1984) adalah seorang pemeran dan model Korea-Kanada.[2][3][8][9] Ia dikenal karena tampil dalam drama-drama televisi My Love By My Side (2011), Heartless City (2013), dan Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo (2015–2016).[10][11]

Lee adalah pemegang sabuk ungu dalam jiu-jitsu Brasil dan gemar pemanasan.[12][13]

Kehidupan Awal dan Pendidikan

Lee lahir dari pasangan Lee Hwan-mook dan Oh Young-hee di Seoul, Korea Selatan pada tanggal 15 Desember 1984, dan dibesarkan di Toronto, Ontario, Kanada. Ia bersekolah di St. Elizabeth Catholic High School di Thornhill, Ontario untuk pendidikan menengahnya. Lee sedang menyelesaikan gelar dalam olahraga di Universitas Toronto ketika ia dibina oleh agen bakat Korea Selatan dalam sebuah audisi, dan dengan demikian diperkenalkan ke bisnis pertunjukan Korea .

Pindah kembali ke Korea Selatan dan memulai karirnya sebagai aktor, Lee mendaftar dan akhirnya akan menyelesaikan gelar studi teater dari Universitas Dongguk , di mana ia kemudian akan ditunjuk sebagai duta universitas.

Permulaan Karir

Dalam sebuah wawancara, Lee mengungkapkan bahwa permulaannya sebagai aktor di Korea Selatan datang dengan beberapa tantangan dan kesulitan. Selain audisi yang sangat kompetitif untuk peran, ada juga saran dan tawaran untuk melakukan operasi kosmetik; untuk memangkas hidungnya, melembutkan rahangnya, dan bahkan meluruskan giginya.Tetapi Lee mengatakan bahwa dia memutuskan untuk tidak melakukan prosedur apa pun karena dia merasa telah melakukan apa yang telah diberikan orang tuanya secara alami dalam hal penampilan, dan bahwa dia membenci pemikiran untuk mendapatkan peningkatan estetika apa pun.

Dia juga mencoba menurunkan berat badan sebagai aktor baru, karena itu adalah keharusan baginya untuk melakukannya. Ada satu proyek di mana dia harus kehilangan 10 kilogram, dan dia melakukannya. Tapi Lee mengatakan itu tidak benar-benar membuka pintu baru baginya. Jadi, setelah mendapatkan lebih banyak pengalaman akting, ia memutuskan untuk menjaga berat badannya dan memperkuat fisiknya.
