Konferensi Waligereja Bangladesh

Konferensi Waligereja Bangladesh adalah konferensi waligereja Katolik dari Bangladesh.

Sejarah

CBCB didirikan pada tahun 1971. Tujuan Konferensi ini adalah untuk memfasilitasi kebijakan dan tindakan bersama dalam hal-hal yang memengaruhi atau dapat memengaruhi kepentingan Gereja Katolik di Bangladesh dan untuk melayani negara secara luas.[1] Sebelum berdirinya Bangladesh , para uskup Bangladesh adalah anggota Konferensi Waligereja Pakistan.[2]

Sejak November 2013, presiden Konferensi Waligereja Bangladesh adalah Kardinal Patrick D’Rozario, Uskup Agung Dhaka. Pusat CBCB juga digunakan untuk pertemuan, konferensi dengan harga terjangkau. Uskup Moses Costa CSC dari Keuskupan Chittagong dan Fr. Subrato Boniface Gomes mengambil alih tugas Sekretariat CBCB pada bulan Juli Sebagai Sekretaris Jenderal dan Asisten Sekretaris Jenderal. Bikas Gomes adalah Manajer untuk kegiatan terkait ruang konferensi pusat CBCB.
