Komando Resor Militer 131/Santiago atau Korem 131/Santiago merupakan Korem yang berada di bawah komando Kodam XIII/Merdeka.

Korem 131/Santiago sebagai Sub Kompartemen Strategis mempunyai wilayah pembinaan potensi kekuatan teritorial di wilayah Sulawesi Utara yang terdiri dari 4 Kota dan 11 Kabupaten. Korem 131/Santiago disamping melaksanakan tugas pembinaan Satuan dalam rangka terpeliharanya kemampuan dan kesiapan operasional satuan dalam Korem 131/Santiago juga melaksanakan pembinaan potensi pertahanan darat, pembinaan komunikasi sosial serta membantu Polri dan Pemda di wilayah Sulawesi Utara. Markas Korem berkedudukan di Manado. Letak wilayah Korem 131/Santiago meliputi daratan yang terletak di jazirah Utara Pulau Sulawesi dan memiliki beberapa pulau yang tersebar di ujung utara berada pada posisi antara 00 30’ - 40 30’ LU dan 1210 – 1270 BT.[1]
