Kekristenan di Oman

Kekristenan di Oman merupakan suatu agama yang dianut oleh 2,5% dari populasi total negara Oman, yang berjumlah 64.000 orang. Ada sekitar 90 jemaat Kristen di Oman.[1]

Hampir semua orang Kristen berasal dari negara lain.[2] Sebagian besar dari mereka berasal dari Filipina, India atau negara-negara Barat.[3] Setidaknya satu gereja Kristen St Thomas hadir di Oman.[4] Lebih dari 50 kelompok Kristen yang berbeda, beasiswa, dan rakitan aktif di wilayah metropolitan Muscat.[5] Gereja Protestan dari Oman, Keuskupan Katolik dari Oman dan al Amana Pusat (interdenominasi Kristen) diakui oleh Kementerian Wakaf dan Urusan Agama.[6] Ada sekolah-sekolah Kristen di Oman.[7]

Dakwah di kalangan Muslim dilarang.[8] Instruksi dalam Islam adalah wajib di sekolah umum.[9]

Katolik

Menurut sensus 2005, 3.001 umat Katolik tinggal di Oman. Oman milik daerah Vikariat Apostolik Arabia. 21 jemaat Katolik ada di Oman.[10]

Protestan

0,4% dari orang-orang di Oman adalah Kristen Protestan.[11] Oman milik daerah Keuskupan Siprus dan Gereja Teluk Episkopal di Yerusalem dan Timur Tengah.[12] Ada 21 denominasi Protestan yang hadir di Oman.[1]
