Horemheb (kadang-kadang dieja Horemhab atau Haremhab) adalah firaun terakhir dinasti ke-18 Mesir Kuno.[1]

Sebelum menjadi firaun, Horemheb adalah kepala komando angkatan bersenjata pada era kekuasaan Tutankhamun dan Ay. Setelah naik takhta, ia mereformasi negara. Horemheb menghancurkan monumen-monumen Akhenaten, menggunakan puing-puingnya untuk proyek-proyek pembangunannya, dan merebut makam Tutankhamun dan Ay. Ia tidak memiliki keturunan dan menunjuk wazirnya, Paramesse (Ramesses I), sebagai penerus.

Menurut Kronologi Baru usulan David Rohl, Horemheb adalah firaun yang merebut Gezer dan memberikan kota itu sebagai hadiah beserta salah seorang putrinya kepada Raja Salomo untuk menjadi istrinya.[2]

Perhitungan waktu

Menurut kronologi konvensional Horemheb berkuasa dari tahun 1319 SM hingga akhir 1292 SM.[1] Menurut kronologi baru masa kekuasaannya adalah dari tahun 990-962 SM.[2]
