Gubernur (Tiongkok)

Gubernur (Hanzi: 省长; Pinyin: shěngzhǎng) di Tiongkok adalah kepala pemerintahan tingkat provinsi. Saat ini ada 22 gubernur provinsi di bawah kendali Pemerintah Pusat Tiongkok. Untuk lima Daerah Otonom di Tiongkok (Mongolia Dalam, Guangxi, Tibet, Ningxia, Xinjiang), kepala pemerintahannya yang setingkat gubernur dinamakan "Ketua".[1]

Sistem provinsi di Tiongkok berasal dari Dinasti Yuan dan berkembang pada masa Dinasti Ming serta Dinasti Qing, hingga menjadi sistem administrasi tingkat provinsi Tiongkok modern saat ini.
