Evangeline Pascual adalah seorang aktris, seniman, host radio dan ratu kecantikan asal Filipina yang memenangi kontes kecantikan Miss World Philippines 1973 dan mewakili Filipina di ajang Miss World 1973 di mana ia meraih posisi runner up 1.

Pada 23 November 1973, 54 kontestan bersaing dalam ajang Miss World 1973 yang diadakan di Royal Albert Hall di London. Di akhir acara, Miss Amerika Serikat, Marjorie Wallace terpilih sebagai Miss World, menjadikannya wakil Amerika pertama yang berhasil meraih gelar dan mahkota Miss World. Namun, pejabat kontes mengumumkan bahwa Wallace "telah gagal memenuhi persyaratan dasar dari pekerjaan, sehingga ia dipecat sebagai Miss World."[2]

Evangeline Pascual dari Filipina sebagai runner-up pertama, ditawarkan untuk mengisi kekosongan jabatan yang ditinggalkan pemenang (namun tanpa gelar dan mahkota) namun ia menolak karena Evangeline Pascual sedang melakoni sebuah film pada saat ketika Miss World menawarinya mahkota. Pascual sudah menandatangani kontrak film dan dia merasa tidak akan mampu memenuhi tugasnya sebagai Miss World. Runner-up kedua, Patsy Yuen dari Jamaika, menerima tawaran untuk menyelesaikan tugas Miss World tanpa secara resmi dinobatkan sebagai Miss World.[3][4]
