Androfilia dan ginefilia adalah istilah yang digunakan dalam ilmu perilaku untuk menggambarkan orientasi seksual, sebagai alternatif untuk konseptualisasi homoseksual dan heteroseksual gender biner. Androfilia menggambarkan ketertarikan seksual pada pria atau maskulinitas; ginefilia menggambarkan ketertarikan seksual pada wanita atau feminitas.[1] Ambifilia menggambarkan kombinasi androfilia dan ginefilia pada individu tertentu, atau biseksualitas.[2]

Istilah tersebut digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi objek ketertarikan seseorang tanpa mengaitkan tugas seks atau identitas gender orang tersebut. Ini dapat digunakan ketika menggambarkan orang interseks dan transgender, terutama mereka yang non-biner.[3]
