צ'ארלס פיליפ לאת'אם (באנגלית: Charles Philip Latham;‏ 17 בינואר 1929 - 20 ביוני 2020) היה שחקן בריטי.

ביוגרפיה

לאת'אם נולד באסקס.[1] הוא למד ב"פלסטד סקול"[2] ואחר כך באקדמיה המלכותית לאמנות הדרמה וסיים את התואר ב-1951.[3]

בסוף שנות השישים ובתחילת שנות השבעים של המאה העשרים היה לאת'אם מוכר לצופי הטלוויזיה בבריטניה בתפקיד רואה החשבון "המצפון" של חברת הנפט בבעלות בריאן סטיד (בגילומו של ג'פרי קין) בסדרה "The Troubleshooters" של ה-BBC.[4] עוד הופיע לאת'אם בין השנים 1960 ו-1962 בסדרה "Danger Man", במיני-סדרה "ישו מנצרת", בסדרה "The Treasure Seekers", במיני-סדרה "The Cedar Tree", בפרקים בסדרות "המלאך", "המפקח מגרה", בסדרה הבלשית "Sergeant Cork" בסדרה "Justice", "סיפור אהבה", "Killers", בסדרה "Hammer House of Horror", בסדרה "נני" ובסדרה "המקצוענים".[1]

אחד מתפקידיו הידועים של לאת'אם בקולנוע הוא בדמות קלוב המשרת הרשע של דרקולה בסרט "Dracula: Prince of Darkness" בהפקת חברת האמר משנת 1966.[5] לפני כן הופיע לאת'אם בסרטי האמר נוספים "Devil-Ship Pirates" ו-"The Secret of Blood Island" שניהם מ-1964.[6] עוד בקולנוע שיחק בסרטים "Ring of Spies" (מ-1964), "Spy Story" (מ-1976), "גיבורי נברון" (1978).[1] בטלוויזיה שיחק לאת'אם בתפקיד ראשי בדמות פלנטג'נט פאליסר, לצדה של סוזן המפשייר בתפקיד אשתו, בסדרה בת 26 פרקים של ה-BBC "משפחת פאליסר" עיבוד לסדרת הרומנים הפוליטיים של אנתוני טרולופ.[7] ב-1983 גילם את הלורד הנשיא בורוסה בסדרה "דוקטור הו" בפרק "חמשת הדוקטורים" שנוצר לציון 20 שנה לסדרה.[8][9]
